Dr. K Consulting was founded by Dr. Kiyani, whose own journey as an international student inspired her to help others turn their stories into success. Over 13 years ago, she came to the U.S. for higher education, earning two Master’s degrees in Political Science and Public Administration, and a Ph.D. in Quantitative Security Studies, focused on international and human security with an emphasis on United States national security and how it can advance its strategic interests. Her work has been published in leading academic and non-academic journals.

After working under multiple H-1B visas, Dr. K built her own evidence-based, authentic narrative — one that ultimately led to her permanent residency. That experience became the foundation of Dr. K Consulting, where she helps clients craft powerful personal statements and self-petition narratives for educational, immigration, and professional growth, without providing legal advice.

Dr. K has taught at several U.S. universities, worked with government and private organizations, and supported individuals on F-1, F-2, H-1, and J-1 visas. Her guidance has led to successful admissions, scholarships, and approvals through the National Interest Waiver (NIW), EB-1, and EB-2 categories.
